Jennifer Smit has been following the founder Avantia Damberg from the start of her art career. She keeps doing this by advising her where it comes to the art side of things.

Van der Woude is a seasoned architect. As an advisor to the SKOR Kòrsou foundation, he brings expertise in architecture and cultural heritage, supporting projects that strengthen the island’s creative and social fabric.

Josée Thissen-Rojer is a curator and art historian who supports SKOR Kòrsou with her expertise in Caribbean art and culture. She helps shape projects that highlight creativity and connect the community with its artistic heritage.

Lusette Verboom-Fairbairn,former art gallery owner, has built an amazing career in the art sector of Curaçao. She now focusses on archiving our art heritage and has a private art collection that reflects her more than 25 years career.

For decades, Bert shifts between the Netherlands and Curaçao, visiting the island regularly, and making it a central influence in his art. His etching style is described as combining “old European drukkersambacht” (printmaking tradition) with observations of Caribbean nature and society. He has been active in the SKOR of his home town.

Yuri Kirindongo is a renowned visual artist and advisor to SKOR Kòrsou. With his creative vision and deep connection to the island’s culture, he brings valuable insight in the technical of sculpting having extensive experience as an established and award nominated artist.

Hortence Brouwn is a sculptress with a longstanding presence in Curaçao’s art scene, recognized for her expressive use of natural materials. As an advisor to SKOR Kòrsou, she shares her artistic vision and cultural insight to help shape projects that celebrate creativity and community.

Maria, our previous president, now functions as our advisor. She is still very much involved with SKOR Kòrsou and knowing the ins and outs, she is able to advise and consult us perfectly.
